Training Philosophy
At K9 Liberty, we believe that every dog deserves to learn in a way that builds trust, confidence, and understanding. Our force-free, positive reinforcement approach focuses on teaching, not punishing, so dogs feel safe and motivated to learn. While working with us, we will prioritize
Clear Communication – We help owners understand their dogs’ needs, emotions, and body language so they can build a strong, secure bond.
Choice & Confidence – Giving dogs agency in their training helps them feel secure, reducing fear and frustration.
Emotional Regulation – We teach dogs how to manage their emotions, making everyday life easier and less stressful for both the dog and owner.
Enrichment & Engagement – A mentally and physically fulfilled dog is a well-behaved dog. We incorporate fun, rewarding activities that encourage natural behaviors.
Real-Life Success – Training isn’t just about obedience; it’s about helping dogs and their humans thrive together in everyday situations.
At K9 Liberty, we don’t train dogs to be “perfect.” We train them to be confident, happy, and understood—because a well-supported dog makes for a harmonious, stress-free home
Hi, I’m Madison!
My journey with dogs began in college when I became a foster for a Service Dog organization. I quickly fell in love with working with dogs. I eventually went on to professionally train at the same organization. During my time there I fostered nineteen dogs and welcomed two hopeful breeders into my home. I placed over twenty dogs with children and veterans. Dog training is my passion and I hope to work with you and your dog!
