Our son received his autism service dog in March 2022. His service dog, Liberty, has without a doubt been the most impactful choice we have ever made for him.  Madison cared for Liberty since she was 8 weeks old and absolutely poured her heart and soul into preparing Liberty to be the incredible service dog that she is. Madison got to know our son’s needs through questionnaires and videos we shared with her and did a wonderful job of preparing Liberty for him. They are an absolute match made in heaven. Liberty was trained for behavior disruption, scent tracking for elopement, and various commands to help meet his sensory needs. When our son began having more frequent seizures, Madison helped us train her for seizure alerts as well. From day one Madison has made herself available for support all along the way!One of my favorite parts of having Liberty in our home is how seamlessly she transitions based on our needs - she works hard for her boy but when she’s “off duty” she is the sweetest companion to us all. I have no doubt that Madison’s approach to training is what made her such a confident and consistent working dog as well as a playful and silly companion. When it is time for Liberty to retire, there is no one else I’d consider to train our next service dog!
